Salvador El Chamuco Cortez, Oakland native, has been tattooing in the Bay for 10 years. Specializes in Cali Fine Line, Portraits and Pre-Hispanic images. Chamuco, along with his wife, Corazon, opened Amor Eterno in September of 2010.

Amor Eterno is Oakland's most beautiful art space. Our building dates back to the 1880's. The property is full of history. Once a brewery and later a speakeasy, jazz musicians like Fats Domino once played here. In the late 1960's - early 1970's Bruce Lee used our cottage as a kick it spot while teaching at his first studio in Oakland. Today Solano Alley, located adjacent to the shop, is exploding with murals from the hottest East Oakland Renaissance painters. Chris Granillo, Jon Nagel, Ken Davis, Mike Giant, Excel, Krash, Project Elefont, Bounce, Ras Terms, Safety First, Deadeyes and more. Come down to the shop and check out our fantastic artists portfolios, the new murals or relax in our garden, now open! Thanks to Uncle Victor for helping us get the garden up and running!

Amor Eterno is proud to be in Oakland. We utilize our space not only as a tattoo studio and art gallery, but also to facilitate awareness and fundraising for local organizations and nonprofits. We have raised money for East Side Arts Alliance, Queer Youth organizations and Suicide Awareness. We look forward to providing a platform for grassroots organizations that provide essential services to Oakland's neighborhoods and youth.

Welcome to the tribe.
